I started Llyn.info in April 2002 after thinking of writing a book
about the area, and then discovering I could reach many more people
over the Internet using a website instead!
As Llyn.info nears it's 5th birthday,
it's success as one of the most popular tourist guides to the area
keeps on growing - with the rise of it's subsidiaries, PenLlŷn
Photography and Llyn.info calendars in the last couple of years,
Llyn.info now offers many different ways in which to experience the
tranquillity of one of the finest beauty spots in Britain.
Not to mention Llyn.info Web Design,
which has helped small businesses in the area get on the Internet and
advertise themselves to the world, with a personal service that only a
one man band can provide!
It's my passion for the area that
motivates me to do all this - and although I am still primarily based
in Bewdley, Worcestershire (a nice enough place in itself!), I hope to make Llŷn
my home in the next few years and am looking forward to integrating
into the tight knit communities that are scattered across the
peninsula. Learning Welsh has been a hobby of mine over the last few
years, and I hope to one day be fluent.
However, location is not a major
factor in the web design business and much of my communication with
clients is via email, making it easy to do business wherever you are.
