Stormy Midsummer - 22nd June

After what seems to have been a long
period of fairly settled weather, just as midsummer's day
arrives and one of the deepest depressions for months crosses
the country! The Llŷn Peninsula was mentioned in the national
forecast on BBC1 this morning as forecasted winds of up to 70mph
battered the area. With trees in full leaf there were concerns
for those travelling and power cuts affected large areas of the
peninsula during the day, though power was back on by early
evening and being the longest days of the year, lack of light
now the sunshine has returned isn't an issue!! Here are some
photos of Llŷn from Friday 20th and Sunday 22nd June:
