This small community lies two miles out of Pwllheli on the A497 to Nefyn. The Pwllheli Rugby Club is based on the outskirts of the village, as is Hendre Caravan Park. The centre of the village is around the junction of the A497 and the B4415 to Aberdaron. There is a small general stores in the village and playing fields and a park on the opposite side of the road.

Low-lying woodland near PwllheliAbererch

Abererch is a small village that is set just to the north of the A497 two miles out of Pwllheli towards Criccieth. To the south of the A497 is the Abererch Sands Caravan Park and the popular beach. The railway runs along the back of the beach with a holt near the minor road that leads to the beach.
