Welcome to the North Coast
The
North Coast of Llyn is home to some of the most breath taking beauty on
Llyn. From the turbulent waters around Braich-y-Pwll (at the end of the
peninsula) to the sweeping sands of Dinas Dinlle near Caernarfon, the
North Coast has a sandy beaches, rocky cliffs and dominant mountains. This
beauty has been recognised for many years now and in 1957 the coast was
designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Learn more about what
this means
here...
Many
parts of this coast are very undiscovered, which allows you to leave the
stress and strains of the modern world behind you and relax in peace.
Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn are
the largest settlements on the coastline and there are a few shops in both
of them, as well as some basic services. A more comprehensive range of
services can be found in Pwllheli or Caernarfon.
