"Lloyd George Village"
Llanystumdwy is famous as being the childhood
home and burial place of former British Prime Minister, David Lloyd
George and there is a museum in the village to commemorate this.
The village is set on the banks of the Afon
Dwyfor, near it's confluence with the Afon Dwyfach and about a mile
upstream from it's mouth on the shores of Tremadog Bay.
There are plenty of good walks along the river
and in surrounding country lanes. In the centre of the village there
is a small tea shop, ideal for a treat afterwards.
