Llanaelhaearn is nestled at the foot of Yr Eifl
to the north west and the Gyrn Hills to the north east, on the A499
as it cuts across the peninsula from Pwllheli on the south to Trefor
on the north coast. The B4417 runs out of the village to the west,
along the southern slopes of Yr Eifl towards Llithfaen and Nefyn.
The village has a small church, a small post
office, a pub and a cafe as well as a bakery.
