It is often possible to see the Wicklow
Mountains from here on Llŷn, and there are many
photographs on the web to prove this. However,
up until now, I've not found any back the other
way.
There is only about 45 miles between the tip of
Llŷn and the east coast of Ireland, but
conditions have to be very clear to be able to
see from one side to another - and we are only
able to see across thanks to high ground on both
sides. The best photos I've come across so far
were taken by Michael Connaughton, from the road
which links Newtownmountkennedy and Roundwood in
County Wicklow.
The hills of the peninsula are quite easy to
pick out:

Anelog & Mynydd Mawr (the tip of the peninsula).

There is a full, labled panorama

Fantastic photos I'm sure you will agree!
