Llaniestyn is in the heart of western Llŷn, at the foot of Garn Fadryn. This small village is centred around it's church. The neighbouring village of Garnfadryn is the best starting point for an attempt at walking up to the summit of the hill of Garn Fadryn which offers spectacular views in all directions.
