The village of Efailnewydd lies just a mile or so inland from Pwllheli on the A497 to Nefyn. The village lies in a very quiet rural area with a mixture of fields and old Welsh woodlands. The village is home to the Pwllheli Rugby Club. There is also a small shop and a popular children's play area in the village.
