Dinas Dinlle backs a long sandy beach (pebbles
at the top) and is a small community with a pub,
beach shop and cafe and is located on the road
to Caernarfon Air World, from where you can take
a pleasure flight around the peninsula, or
across the mountains and castle's of north-west
Wales.
Behind the village is Y Foryd, a tidal inlet,
which is home to an abundance of wildlife and
because of this it is a nature reserve. The
village has magnificent views of the nearby
mountains of Snowdonia, including Snowdon itself
and on a clear day you can even see the trains
making their way to the summit! The vista also
extends down the peninsula along the hills of
Bwlch Mawr, the Gyrn's and Yr Eifl. To the
northwest Holyhead Mountain can be seen on a
clear day. The view is better still if you make
the short climb up onto the top of the old hill
fort that lies at the southern end of the
village.
