Catering > Derwin Cottages These are 2 superb period cottages each with an eclectic mixture of influences with a warm intimate feeling. Derwin is an 18th century longhouse with a large farmhouse kitchen and an oil fired aga. It has a spacious lounge with a log burning stove. Llys Derwin is a fine example of an Elizabethan farmhouse restored to preserve all its original features. With inglenook fireplace, stone circular staircase, oak panelling and leaded windows. Recently dated dendrochronologicaly at C 1543. Both have enclosed spacious gardens which are secure for dogs. Ideally situated on the western edge of the Snowdonia National Park, within easy reach of both the north and south coasts of the Llyn Peninsula, Derwin Cottages provide the perfect base from which to explore the area.
