About Llyn.info Llyn.info began in 2002 as the A-Z Guide of the Llyn Peninsula, and has since grown to become what it is today, one of the most popular Llyn Peninsula websites on the net, serving both visitors and locals alike. The website has grown from the passion of it's webmaster for the area, which has now become his home. Martyn comes from Worcestershire originally, but the Llyn Peninsula has always been his favourite place, where he always knew he wanted to be. An appreciation of the areas natural beauty, cultural heritage and "spirit" which he finds unique to the peninsula is as strong now as it has ever been. Llyn.info now works with many local businesses in an effort to promote them in a way in which only a local website can. Whilst there are many websites covering North Wales and Wales as a whole, Martyn felt the Llyn Peninsula was often neglected on these wider scales. Hopefully Llyn.info will continue to grow in the future as it has in the past - and with around 2.5 million hits per year (figures from end of 2008) - hopefully it will continue to communicate the splendour of the very special area we have here to people around the globe.
